Tiger wrestlers to host golf tournament

MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University wrestling team is hitting the golf course this fall to help raise money for scholarships for the Tiger wrestling program.

The wrestlers host the first annual Tiger Wrestling Golf Tournament Saturday, Sept. 15 at Wild Oak Golf Course in Mitchell. Check in starts at 8 a.m. at the golf course and there will be a shotgun start at 9 a.m. Cost of the tournament is $50 per person, which includes lunch and a golf cart. All money raised will go directly toward funding scholarships for DWU wrestling.

The tournament is a four-man scramble. There will be pin prizes at every hole, and two flights of payout at the end of the tournament. First place in each flight wins $100 and second place wins $50.
