MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University golf program is hosting its annual winter golf clinic Saturday, Feb. 9.
The eighth annual clinic, put on by the Tiger men’s and women’s head golf coach Adam Anderson, is at the Christen Family Recreation/Wellness Center on the Dakota Wesleyan campus. There will be two sessions of the clinic: one from 9-11 a.m. and one from 1-3 p.m. Registration for the first session is from 8:30-9 a.m. in the Wellness Center and registration for the second session is from 12:30-1 p.m.
The clinic – which is open to golfers of all ages – focuses on iron play, driving the ball, putting, chipping and putting and features a rules seminar with an administered exam. Along with Anderson – who has coached nine national qualifying teams at Dakota Wesleyan – camp staff includes DWU assistant coach and former Tiger golfer Tyler Evenson, former golf club professional Chas Hurd, 2012 SDGA Men’s Golfer-of-the-Year Ben Irlbeck and two-time All-GPAC golfer and DWU alumn Chris Pritchard.
Cost of the clinic is $25 per person. Golfers can also get their golf swing recorded and analyzed for $10.
Space is limited, so call Anderson at 605-995-2179 or email him at email@example.com to register. There is also an PDF registration form below!
