Along with golf, Hinker participated in basketball and volleyball for four years at Lennox. She helped guide her team to a South Dakota Class 'A' Basketball Tournament Runner-Up in 2017. Hinker is a member of the National Honor Society and won the Oriole Top Bird Award.

"Megan has a great outlook on life and is going to be a great fit in our 2018 class," Hoek said. "Her leadership and charismatic personality will be felt immediately in our program and on campus."
