Dakota Wesleyan Athletics Places Ninth in 2025-26 GPAC All-Sports Trophy Standings

SIOUX CITY, Iowa — The Great Plains Athletic Conference has released the final results for this school year's race for the GPAC All-Sports Trophy, which includes a combined effort throughout the seasons of each DWU sport, both men's and women's, to come together to form a composite ranking.

The GPAC All-Sports standings are compiled by taking the possible points available divided by the total points earned in the conference. Dakota Wesleyan University Athletics claimed ninth place out of 11 in the men's standings and ninth of 12 in the women's, leading to a ninth-place finish in the standings overall. DWU finished ahead of GPAC foes Waldorf, Briar Cliff, and Mount Marty in the final overall rankings. Highlights from the entirety of the school year included the Women's Basketball GPAC Championship and the team's run to the NAIA Semifinals, Volleyball's qualification to the final championship site in Sioux City, Jagger Tyler claiming eighth place at the NAIA Men's Wrestling Championships, Allison Meyerink going back-to-back as the GPAC Women's Golf Champion, alongside a handful of other meaningful contributions from the campus's 17 athletic programs and hundreds of student-athletes, helping build momentum for the future of DWU Athletics in the process.
