Bio
Becca Buchholz joined the Dakota Wesleyan University athletic training staff in the summer of 2024. She graduated with her Master's in athletic training and minor in psychology from Dakota Wesleyan University in 2023. Buchholz serves as an Athletic Training Instructor and the Clinical Education Coordinator in the Donna Starr Christen College of Healthcare Fitness & Science. She is also an athletic trainer who works with long-term rehabilitation for the Dakota Wesleyan University student-athletes. Buchholz began her Doctorate in Athletic Training from Florida International University in the Fall of 2024 and is expected to graduate in August of 2026.
She was employed with CNOS from 2023-2024 and served as an athletic trainer in Nebraska for the South Sioux City Cardinals. She also spent time working in the CNOS Orthopedic Urgent Care Clinic. Buchholz had the opportunity to cover the NAIA National Women’s Basketball Tournament as well as the NAIA National Women’s Volleyball Tournament.
Buchholz is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association, the Mid-America Athletic Trainers' Association, and the South Dakota Athletic Trainers' Association. She is a certified basic life support provider.
Buchholz resides in Mitchell, SD.
