The 2025-2026 season marks the first as an Assistant Coach for DWU. Torres assists with on the defensive side with the infielders and hitters, as well as recruiting.
Prior to joining the Tigers coaching staff, Torres played for the Tigers for 3 years as a starter.
Before coming to South Dakota, Torres played for the College of Marin Mariners in Kentfield, CA where he was a red shirt and grey shirt. He was also apart of 3 conference championships in the Bay Valley Conference (BVC). Torres finished his last year of Junior College at San Francisco City College.
