Mitchell, S.D. – Dakota Wesleyan football will take on Hastings College in the annual Blue and White Home Coming game. The Tigers and Broncos will kick off at 1 p.m. from Joe Quintal Field.

 

ABOUT THE TIGERS

  • Dakota Wesleyan kicks off homecoming with a 1-2 overall record, 1-1 in conference play, and 0-1 at home
  • DWU has averaged 296 total offensive yards this season with 123.7 rushing yards on average and 172.3 passing yards
  • The Tigers have allowed an average of 281 total offensive yards, 109.3 rushing yards, and 171.7 passing yards per game
  • Quarterback Kiel Nelson has thrown for an average of 129.3 yards in his three games; completing 39.3% of his pass attempts
  • Jamin Arend is the leading rusher for the Tigers, averaging 86.3 yards per game and 5.9 yards per carry
  • On the edge, wide receiver Jakob Oxos has 13 receptions on the season with 191 total receiving yards for an average of 63.7 yards per contest; Oxos also has two touchdowns on the season
