General: The Argus Leader Media Group Basketball Player of the Year nominee, Class “B” Player of the Year recipient and four-time All-Conference First-Team player inks with the DWU men’s basketball team for the 2019-20 season.
 
High School: Named conference MVP three times while playing for Bridgewater-Emery High School ... the Coaches Association Class “B” Basketball Player of the Year in 2019 ... in his career, Schultz tallied 1,876 points, 709 rebounds, 411 assists, 267 steals and 103 blocks ... during his senior season, he averaged 23 points, 9.5 rebounds, four assists, 2.5 steals and a block per game ... led his team to a state championship in 2017 with an undefeated season of 26-0 ... finished in third place in 2018 and 2019 at the South Dakota Class “B” State Basketball Tournament ... named All-State First-Team and All-Tourney Team three times ... a three-time Daily Republic Player of the Year honoree, a South Dakota Mr. Basketball finalist, a two-time Argus Leader First Five member and an Academic All-State player ... a National Honor Society member ... a four-year starter in basketball ... also a three-time letterwinner in football and a two-time letter recipient in track ... earned All-Conference and All-State in football ... a four-event state qualifier in track.
