MITCHELL, S.D. — Dakota Wesleyan Men's Basketball hosted the Midland Warriors at the Corn Palace in a GPAC matchup.

The Warriors started the contest with the offensive advantage, but the Tigers would close the Midland lead to just one possession halfway through the first half. The DWU offense was led by Easton Neuendorf and Steele Morgan, who both scored 19 points each in their respective efforts. Neuendorf dropped a 12-assist double-double alongside a couple of rebounds in an effort that earned him Blarney's Sports Bar & Grill Player of the Game honors, while Morgan added eight boards, three assists, and two steals to the game, as both players continue to have notable starts to the 2025-26 season. Randy Rosenquist Jr. posted 15 points to add to the mix, while matching Morgan's steal total of eight, alongside four assists and a steal. Additions from the rest of the starters contributed to DWU reclaiming the momentum towards the end of the half, taking a 42-40 lead into the locker room.

Tyson Stevenson and Anthony Riggans both scored double-digit points to round out the starting lineup. Stevenson posted 14 on a 62.5% clip from the field, along with going 3-5 (60%) from three, while Riggans contributed 11 points, along with three rebounds and an assist. Off the bench, freshman forward Noah Oberfeld added six points to contribute to the slowly growing lead of the Tigers as the second half progressed. The Warriors were initially able to stay within a few possessions of the Tigers, but the continued scoring pace, limited turnovers, and boosted defensive play ultimately pushed Dakota Wesleyan to an 86-73 victory to move to 2-1 in conference play.

DWU Men's Basketball will be back in action against Briar Cliff on Tuesday, November 25th, in Iowa. See the full 2025-26 schedule here.
