SEWARD, Neb. — Dakota Wesleyan Men's Basketball squared off in a GPAC matchup against the 24th-ranked Concordia Bulldogs down in Nebraska.

The Tigers and Bulldogs started the game on a similar pace, with DWU surging to an early lead halfway through the first 20 minutes at 19-14, especially thanks to an initial burst of points from Anthony Riggans. Riggans tied his second-highest career scoring mark with 18 total points on 6-9 (66.7%) shooting from the field, including an impressive 4-5 (80%) from three. Easton Neuendorf specifically led the team in the first half with 11 points alongside three assists, while Tyson Stevenson would be the team's second-leading scorer with 15 total points on 11 shot attempts. The trio of double-digit scorers would help the Tigers stay competitive, but Concordia would eventually storm back as the first half came to a close. With just over nine minutes remaining in the first, CUNE extended its lead to multiple possessions and pushed the lead to 51-31 over DWU at the break. The Tigers were outshot by the Bulldogs, 35.7% to 54.5%, from the field in the first half.

Randy Rosenquist Jr. led the Tigers on the boards with nine rebounds, alongside eight points, four assists, and a steal in 36 played minutes, while Steele Morgan rounded out the team's starting rotation with five points and three boards. Off the bench, Aiden Costain recorded six points on 3-4 (75%) shooting from the field, while CJ Banks contributed four points, three boards, two assists, and a steal in 14 minutes on the court. Even with the additional effort, the Tigers were unable to catch up to the Bulldogs, who eventually pulled away with a 103-71 victory. Dakota Wesleyan was able to nearly match Concordia's points in the paint, but the efficient shooting from CUNE kept the contest out of reach.

DWU Men's Basketball will be back in action against the Dordt Defenders on the road on Wednesday, December 10th, at 7:45 PM. See the full 2025-26 schedule here.
