FOREST CITY, Iowa — Dakota Wesleyan Men's Basketball faced the Waldorf Warriors in a road conference contest.

The Tigers and Warriors traded early points, as both offenses were able to capitalize on their initial possessions. DWU's offensive effort was spearheaded by the starting lineup, with four of them recording 15 or more points. In his first start since the opening contest of the season back in October, Oliver Vincent led the Tigers in scoring with 20 total points on a 5-11 (45.4%) clip from the field and an impressive 3-5 (60%) clip from three, alongside three boards and a steal. Vincent was followed closely by Easton Neuendorf on the statsheet, who posted 19 points, a team-leading seven assists, and three rebounds. Mitchell native Steele Morgan recorded an impressive double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. He was able to dish out five assists by the end of the game in one of his more dominant performances in the field, operating at a 7-10 (70%) clip throughout the night. The group's scoring efforts helped keep the Tigers out in front, with DWU taking a 49-37 lead into the half.

The Warriors found their offensive footing out of the break, but the Tigers were able to keep stride on the scoring front. Tyson Stevenson recorded 15 points, making five total baskets from the field, and shooting an astounding 4-5 (80%) from three throughout the night. Randy Rosenquist Jr. rounded out the starting lineup by tallying seven rebounds, four points, and two blocks during the game, and off the bench, freshman CJ Banks recorded a DWU career-high of 12 points, and added three assists and a board to his final stat line. Even still, with just under 10 minutes to play, the Warriors closed DWU's multiple-possession lead to just two points after a hot scoring streak, but the Tigers were able to find their footing before Waldorf was able to fully take a lead. The game remained within one or two possessions for the next few minutes, but a final series of free throws and scores on late possessions pushed the Tigers through the finish line, winning 94-87. The Tigers were able to outrebound the Warriors 31-24, along with a more efficient shooting day, going 56.4% to Waldorf's 51.3%.

DWU Men's Basketball will be back in action on the road against Mount Marty on Saturday, February 14th, with tipoff planned for 3:45 PM. See the full 2025-26 schedule here.
