ORANGE CITY, Iowa — Dakota Wesleyan Men's Basketball faced the Northwestern Red Raiders in the quarterfinal round of the GPAC Championship Tournament down in Iowa.

The beginning of the postseason contest started similarly to their game from the weekend, with Northwestern able to take advantage of an early scoring run that saw the Red Raiders jump out to a quick 15-0 lead. The Tigers were able to get on the board with a jump shot from Easton Neuendorf, who went on to post seven points, four boards, and four assists in his effort. The true freshman was joined off the bench by another freshman, Noah Oberfeld, who was able to have his second consecutive double-digit scoring effort of the season, recording 13 points, alongside leading DWU in blocks with two. DWU would find its leading scorer in Randy Rosenquist Jr., who was able to record 16 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals, but even with continuing contributions on the offensive side of the ball, the Northwestern offense was able to outpace DWU. In the first half, NWC would put up 65 points on 72.7% shooting from the field, alongside a 68.8% clip from three during the first 20 minutes of play. DWU would trail 65-29 at the half.

The second half found the Tigers able to put together more points, but the extensive NWC lead was enough to keep DWU out of the contest down the stretch. Dakota Wesleyan saw more scoring contributions from Tyson Stevenson, who posted 12 points, four rebounds, and two assists, alongside Steele Morgan, who tied for a team-leading five rebounds on top of his 11 scored points. Anthony Riggans rounded out the starting rotation, recording six total points, and was matched by Gavin Hinker off the bench, who was able to also snag four rebounds, two steals, a block, and an assist, but even still, Northwestern kept their lead down the stretch. On the night, DWU was outshot by NWC 40.3% to 62.7% from the field, and the Red Raiders were able to control the glass with 44 rebounds to the Tigers' 30. DWU would end up falling 112-79 to NWC when the final buzzer sounded.
