How It Happened

Dohrer was the top finisher for Tiger men's golf after the two full rounds of golf. He posted only five holes over par on day one putting him only two over par after the first 18 holes. Day two was a little more challenging as he was 12 over par after 18.

Cavanaugh had a similar start on day one, picking up several par shots including a pair of birdie shots on holes seven and 11. After the first 18 holes, Cavanaugh was only six over par. The second round in Kansas, he posted multiple bogey and par shots with only one hole that was trouble handing him the only double bogey of the second round.

Bettcher was also strong on day one with multiple par and bogey shots, carding seven over course par after the first round. Similar to the other Tiger golfers, the second round did not go as planned as he posted 13 over par with nine bogey or worse shots.

Jost wrapped up his two rounds shooting 27 over par, 14 over in round one and 13 over in round two as he carded only 12 total par shots between the two days. Larson had a better round one scribing half of the round one holes as par shots compared to the second round where he carded only seven par shots.
