Beatrice, Neb. – The Dakota Wesleyan University (DWU) men's golf team turned in a strong performance on day one of the GPAC Championships, finishing the 36-hole round in fourth place overall with a team score of 602.
- Leading the way for the Tigers is Peyton Bettcher, who sits in fourth place individually with a score of 145.
- Connor Calahan and Dakota Munger are close behind, both tied for sixth place after carding scores of 147.
- Drew Norberg wrapped up the day tied for 45th with a score of 163 and will look to gain ground in the final round.
- Jackson Childs and Ryan Flannery are tied for 56th, each posting a score of 89 for the opening day.
The Tigers play resumes on Tuesday with split-tees starting at 8am.

The GPAC Team Champion will advance to the NAIA National Championships in Silvis, Illinois, May 20-23 at TPC Deere Run. The individual champion (unless on winning team) will also advance to the NAIA Championships.
