Mitchell, S.D - The 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference Men's Golf postseason honors have been announced, recognizing outstanding individual performances across the season. The All-Conference teams were selected by the league's coaches, with selections based on cumulative results from the entire 2024-25 campaign.
Dakota Wesleyan University is proud to have three members of its men's golf team recognized among the conference's best. Earning spots on the Second Team All-GPAC are Conor Calahan and Dakota Munger, both of whom delivered strong performances throughout the season. Additionally, Peyton Bettcher was named Honorable Mention All-GPAC, a testament to his consistent play and contributions to the team.
Conor Calahan (So., Flagstaff, Ariz., Kinesiology/ Exercise Science) - Second Team
Junior Calahan led the way for Dakota Wesleyan at the GPAC Men's Golf Conference Tournament, finishing 5th overall with a total score of +2. Calahan showed steady improvement across the three rounds, opening with a +2, followed by a +1 in round two, and closing with a strong -1 in the final round.
His top-five finish was the highest among DWU golfers at the tournament and contributed 30.88 points to the team's overall total. The performance also helped earn him Second Team All-GPAC honors for the 2024-25 season.
Dakota Munger (Fr., Chamberlain, S.D., Fitness and Sports Management) - Second Team
Freshman Munger turned in a solid performance at the GPAC Men's Golf Conference Tournament, finishing 10th overall with a total score of +5. He posted rounds of +2, +1, and +2, showing steady play throughout the three-day event.
His top-10 finish contributed 24.05 points to Dakota Wesleyan's team total and helped him earn a spot on the Second Team All-GPAC, capping off a consistent freshman season.
Peyton Bettcher (Jr., Hartford, S.D., Accounting) - Honorable Mention
Freshman Bettcher tied for 9th at the GPAC Championship with a total score of 220 (+2). He opened with a 75, followed by a solid 70 in round two, and finished with another 75. His performance contributed 30.88 points to DWU's team score and earned him Honorable Mention All-GPAC honors.
