Mitchell, S.D. - The Dakota Wesleyan University Men's Soccer team has released its 2025 schedule, featuring a competitive mix of non-conference and GPAC matchups as the Tigers aim to build momentum and make a postseason push this fall.
The season begins with a pair of scrimmages, as DWU hosts Gillette College on August 11 and Southeast CC on August 16. These preseason tune-ups will help the Tigers prepare for a challenging fall slate.
Official non-conference action kicks off August 24 against Mount Mercy, followed by matchups with St. Ambrose (Aug. 26), Viterbo (Aug. 30), Providence (MT) (Sep. 03), York (NE) (Sep. 06), SD School of Mines (Sep. 12), Concordia-Moorehead (Sep.13), and Bellevue (NE) (Oct.25).
York and Viterbo should provide quality challenges as well—both programs reached their respective conference tournaments in 2024 and return strong cores.
One of the most anticipated non-conference matchups comes October 25, when DWU travels to Bellevue (NE), the reigning CAC Tournament champions. Bellevue made an impressive run to the NAIA National Quarterfinals in 2024, falling to then-No. 19 Milligan. The game will be a strong test as a the Tigers push for a spot in the conference tournament for a consecutive year.
GPAC play begins September 20 against Mount Marty, with key matchups including Hastings (Sept. 27), Midland (Oct. 11), Concordia (Oct. 18), and Morningside (Oct. 29).
