SIOUX CITY, IA — The Dakota Wesleyan Women's Basketball team was picked to finish second in the 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Coaches Preseason Poll, the GPAC announced this morning.
Dakota Wesleyan received 111 votes along with a first-place vote after a phenomenal year last year under Coach Christensen in his 15th year at the helm.
Dordt has been picked to take the crown with 120 votes, with 10 first-place votes, while Dakota Wesleyan follows suit with 111 votes, with one first-place vote.
DWU will open its 28-game slate, hosting the season opener against Bismarck State as they enter their inaugural season with the NAIA.
