KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Avery Broughton and Emma Yost cap off a historic 2025-26 campaign with All-American honors from the NAIA.

Broughton, the junior out of Corsica, South Dakota, earned First Team All-American honors following an immensely impressive campaign that saw her take home the GPAC's Defensive Player of the Year award alongside a First Team All-Conference nod. She was also named GPAC Player of the Week five times throughout the course of the season and set a new DWU program single-season record with 77 recorded blocks. Throughout the schedule, Broughton's 14.6 points per game, 52.3% shooting from the field, and 8.4 rebounds per contest helped propel the Tigers to the semifinals of the NAIA Championship Tournament. The accolade marks Broughton's first All-American honor of her Dakota Wesleyan career. Broughton's First Team nod is the program's first since Kynedi Cheeseman during the 2019-20 season.

Yost, the junior out of Wagner, South Dakota, earned Second Team All-American honors as Dakota Wesleyan's featured scorer. Yost adds the second All-American distinction of her career to her already-impressive resume, which includes three consecutive First Team All-GPAC nods. Her 15.1 points per game led the Tigers throughout the season and was able to operate at an efficient 46.2% shooting clip from the field. Yost also grabbed 160 rebounds and 114 assists throughout the 36-game campaign. Following the 2025-26 season, Yost sits at ninth on the program's all-time scoring list with 1,553 total points, and will look to put an exclamation point on her career next season during her senior campaign.

Both athletes were two of 46 to be named on the All-American list for women's basketball for the NAIA. See the full release here.
