HENDERSON, Nev. — Dakota Wesleyan Women's Golf opened the second half of the 2025-26 season at Lake Las Vegas, as Rocky Mountain College hosted eight total teams in the intercollegiate event.
Allison Meyerink, the current 66th-ranked individual in the NAIA, would be the top scorer for the Tigers, posting an 83 (+11) in the first round, falling slightly lower second with an 85 (+13), but was able to bounce back on the final day with a posted 80 (+8) to finish tied for 14th overall. Meyerink totaled five birdies and an eagle on the sixth hole of round two throughout the two days of competition, and ended with a total score of 248 (+32). Sara Sudenga followed closely behind, finishing ahead of Meyerink after the first round with an 82 (+10), but would also take a step back in round two with an 86 (+14). Her third round would prove to be her best, as a 12th-hole birdie would propel her to another 82 (+10) round finish, bringing Sudenga's final score to 250 (+34), good for 17th place individually. Dakotah Larson posted a 273 (+57), recording her best round out of the gate of the event with an 87 (+15), and recorded a birdie on hole 14 of the second round to finish in 33rd place individually. To round out DWU's effort, Tessa Bulson made her debut for the DWU Women's Golf team, recording a 373 overall. She would record her best performance in the first round and was able to land a birdie on the 13th hole of the competition. The four-athlete lineup placed eighth as a team at the event.
