OMAHA, Neb. — Dakota Wesleyan University Women's Soccer traveled to Nebraska to face the College of Saint Mary Flames in one of its final GPAC contests of the 2025 season.

The Tigers and Flames both brought their best on the defensive side of the ball, as neither side's goalkeeper allowed a goal all night. CSM's goalie recorded eight saves on eight shots-on-goal, while Abigail Colgrove tallied six saves of her own to continue her dominant stretch of defensive play. Dakota Wesleyan attempted to get consistent offensive pressure going, with Hannah Petrucci leading the team in shots, recording four, with two of those close to scoring goals. Annika Enevoldsen and Noelie Prat also each contributed two shots on the net, but the Tigers still were not able to find a seam in the Flames' backline. DWU recorded just four shots in the first half, which doubled CSM's two, as both teams headed into the locker room at halftime locked at 0-0.

The second half saw both teams pick up the pace, but only marginally, as the final tallies saw DWU record 10 total shots to CSM's seven. The limited offensive opportunities continued to highlight each squad's defense, with Mikayla AdamsMeghan Hutchison, and Jacque Madrid all registering full 90-minute performances in the backline. Molly Colgrove and Reese Leighton also showed out on both sides of the pitch, each adding a shot on the goal to their defensive performances. A final surge on offense from the Tigers got them in position to take a lead, but the stout Flame defense held on through the final minutes, and a stand from DWU on defense confirmed the scoreless draw as the final result. The Tigers move to 5-3-7 overall and 4-2-4 in GPAC play.

DWU Women's Soccer will be back in action for the final game of the regular season against Morningside on Wednesday, October 29th, at 7:30 PM. See the full 2025 schedule here.
