General: The Pierre, S.D., native enters her sophomore season with the DWU jumpers in 2021-22.
Freshman Outdoor (2020-21): Hit the runway in three meets for Dakota Wesleyan … competed in both the long jump and high jump at the South Dakota Challenge.
Freshman Indoor (2020-21): Competed in five meets … captured a fourth-place finish and a personal best in the long jump at the Mount Marty Open (4.85m, 15-11).
High School: Tallied a personal best in the long jump (13-07 feet), high jump (4-10), triple jump (31-2.5).
Personal: Born Sept. 9, 2001 … daughter of Guy and Beata Ferris … a psychology major.

VERMILLION, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University track and field program, just two weeks out from the Great Plains Athletic Conference Indoor Championships, faced stiff competition including NCAA DI, DII, and NAIA challengers at the University of South Dakota Alumni Meet in Vermillion, S.D. Highlighting the day, senior throws specialist Caden Milmine captured a third-place finish in the men’s shot put field while several other Tigers registered impressive performances on Saturday afternoon from Mildred J. Hillenbrand Memorial Track.

Sophomore thrower Katlyn Briggs continued her dominance with a victory in the women’s weight throw while senior Lia Guigui captured the event title in the women’s high jump.
MITCHELL, S.D. – The Dakota Wesleyan University men's and women's track and field program circumvented the winter weather by heating up the track as both squads came away with several first-place finishes along with a pair of NAIA National 'A' standards at the DWU Early Bird Invite on Saturday from the DWU/Avera Sports and Wellness Complex in Mitchell, S.D. Morgan Taft, who claimed the women's weight throw title, hit an NAIA National Standard in the event while fellow Tiger senior Caden Milmine also earned a provisional mark in the men's shot put after a first-place finish.
