Bio
General: After making the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Lamer looks to return again for the second-straight season.
Sophomore (2016-17): Tallied a plethora of top finishes throughout the indoor and outdoor seasons … recorded a first-place finish at the Dennis Young Classic in the long jump with a leap of 17-1.25 feet … at the GPAC Championships, she added a fifth-place finish in the Heptathlon … at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships Lamer took 40th in the long jump with a leap of 16-7.75 feet.
Freshman (2016): Impressive outing at the BVU Invite with a second-place finish in the 4x800-meter race in 10:03.66, second in the long jump at 5.24 meters and third in the triple jump at 10.56 meters … finished second in the triple jump at 10.62 meters and fifth in the long jump at 5.08 meters at the Dordt Invitational.
High School: Participated in track and field for the Mustangs … competed in both the long and triple jump … had a second-place finish in the long jump at the state meet as a senior with a leap of 19-feet 2-inches … previously placed fourth as a junior, fifth as a sophomore and seventh in her freshman season … had a fourth-place finish in triple jump as a junior, sixth as a sophomore and eighth as a freshman … also competed in volleyball, cross country and cheer for Tri-Valley.
Personal: Born July 24, 1996 … daughter of Shane Lamer and Jenny Alver … an sports, exercise and wellness major.

YANKTON, S.D. – It was a record-setting day for senior Kamber Lamer (Hartford, S.D.) as she broke the Great Plains Athletic Conference record for the heptathlon and was named the GPAC Women's Field Athlete of the Meet. The senior finished the event with 5,017 points at the GPAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships Friday and Saturday in Yankton, S.D.
