ABOUT THE TIGERS
- DWU finished last season with a 12-9 overall record and 8-8 record in conference play
- The Tigers enter the 2021 season receiving votes in the NAIA Preseason Coaches' Poll
- Dakota Wesleyan was averaging 11.94 kills per set, 16.96 digs per set, and hitting .185 percent in the 21 matches played last year
- Tigers volleyball returns many players from last years roster, including senior outside hitter Jadie DeLange, junior outside hitter Mariah Gloe, and junior setter Madeline Else
- Coach Lindsay Wilber enters her eighth season at the helm
ABOUT THE BLUEJAYS
- Tabor College will head to the Hutchinson Tournament and compete in four matches, three of which will be against teams that are in the NAIA Top-25 or receiving votes
- The Bluejays competed in two scrimmages kicking off their season
- Just a season ago, Tabor compiled records of 26-9 overall and 19-6 in KCAC play
- The Bluejays last season averaged 12.26 kills per set, 11 assists per set, and hit .176 overall
- Mike Macneill leads the Bluejays in his first season
ABOUT THE SPIRES
- The Spires of St. Mary closed out the 2020 season with a 15-14 overall record and going 12-12 in their respective conference KCAC
- St. Mary's season ended last year in the NAIA opening round to top seed Jamestown in a 3-0 sweep.
- During the 2020 season, the Spires averaged 11.8 kills per set, 18.4 digs per set, and a .164 attack percentage
- At the helm for St. Mary is fifth-year head coach Amy Beall
ABOUT THE BRAVES
- Ottawa closed out the 2020 season with a record of 31-9 overall and 22-2 in KCAC
- The Braves lost in the NAIA national tournament last year to the 14 seed Grand View University in Sioux City, Iowa that ended their season.
- Ottawa averaged 13.08 kills per set, 11.90 attacks per set, and 211 total serve aces in the 2020 season.
- Head coach Melissa Blessington leads the Braves for the eighth season
ABOUT THE SWEDES
- Bethany College concluded last season with a 20-11 overall record and 5-9 in KCAC action
- The Swedes average 12.4 kills per set, 1.2 service aces per set and tallied a hitting percentage of .195
- Bethany was ranked 14th in the NAIA last season with a total kills tally of 1,390 and ranked 44th in digs per game with 18.1
- The Swedes are led by third year head coach Brandi Stewart
