Bellevue, Neb. – RV Dakota Wesleyan volleyball bounces back in a four-set win against No. 25 Rocky Mountain, closing out the Labor Day Classic. The Tigers had 62 kills and a hitting percentage of .214 in the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • No. 25 Rocky Mountain took the first set with 15 kills and a .171 hitting percentage
  • The Tigers hit their worst in the first set, only notching 11 kills on 44 attempts 
  • After the opening set, Dakota Wesleyan out-hit the Batlin' Bears in the next three
  • DWU hit their best in the final set of the match with a .375%, while holding RMU to hitting only .222% in the final set
  • Ady Dwight led the team once again in kills, notching 19 of the teams' 62 total kills in the match
  • Mariah Gloe tallied eight blocks, followed by Madeline Else with seven
  • The Tigers recorded three service aces, 80 digs, 23 total blocks, and a hitting percentage of .214 in the match
  • DWU held the Batlin' Bears to only 53 kills, 22 blocks, and a hitting percentage of .160 on the afternoon
