HOW IT HAPPENED

  • The Tigers got off to a hot start, as they quickly found themselves ahead 6-2.
  • DWU led for the entirety of the first set, allowing York to only get within two points.
  • Dakota Wesleyan recorded their best hitting percentage of the game in the first set, hitting .318 percent with 12 kills on 22 attempts.
  • York College gained some traction in the second set as they gained their first lead of the match going up 3-0 in the set.
  • After the Tigers took the lead back at 9-8, they continued their run, going up 16-10.
  • In the third and final set of the match, DWU went on an 8-0 run extending their lead to 19-9.
  • Mackenzie Miller led the team in kills tonight, notching 15 while hitting her best on the season with a .737 hitting percentage.
  • Ady Dwight contributed 11 kills of her own with a .318 hitting percentage.
  • DWU recorded eight block assists in the match, three of which Mariah Gloe was a part of.
  • Madeline Else grabbed 30 of the teams' 37 total assists, and Hanna Reiff had 15 of the teams' 47 total digs.
