- DWU volleyball jumped on Morningside early in the first set, going up 6-0 before Morningside was able to find their first point.
- The Tigers ran away quickly with the first set as the closes the Mustangs ever got was a score of 2-9.
- Dakota Wesleyan trailed for the first time in the match during the second set when Morningside jumped out to a 6-3 lead.
- The Tiger put together a four-point run, extending their lead to 16-10.
- In the third set, the Mustangs found some traction and were able to find a 20-17 lead.
- DWU held Morningside to hitting only .076 percent in the match with 34 kills and 25 attacking errors.
- The Tigers recorded, 42 kills on 106 attempts, and a hitting percentage of .283 with 41 assists.
- On the defensive side, DWU tallied 49 digs and 15 blocks.
- Ady Dwight led the team with 16 kills for a .448 hitting percentage.

Dakota Wesleyan volleyball will play one game on the road before their next home match. The Tigers are traveling on Tuesday, September 21 to play Dordt in a 7:30 p.m. first serve. DWU will return home on Friday, September 24, for an alumni night game during Blue and White Days. Dakota Wesleyan will face off against Briar Cliff at 7:30 p.m. in Christen Family Athletic Center.
