Mitchell, S.D. – The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) and Hauff Mid-America Sports are announced this morning the week four GPAC women's Volleyball players-of-the-week for contests played September 13-19, 2021. Hauff Mid-America Sports is the presenting sponsor of the 2021-2022 GPAC Players-of-the-Week and Players and Coaches-of-the-Year awards program.
Dakota Wesleyan's Ady Dwight is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Volleyball Attacker-of-the-Week. Dwight, a sophomore, from Langford, South Dakota, was instrumental in a sweep of ninth-ranked Northwestern. Against the Raiders she hit .500 and piled up 16 kills. On the week she totaled 43 kills, while hitting .429. She also added 10 blocks as the Tigers swept all three of their opponents.
Dwight and the Tigers return to action tomorrow on the road for a midweek GPAC matchup against Dordt. DWU will play at home on Friday at 7:30 p.m. against Briar Cliff for the annual Blue and White days home coming game.
