13 TIGER VOLLEYBALL STUDENT-ATHLETES SELECTED TO THE NAIA DAKTRONICS SCHOLAR-ATHLETE LIST

Mitchell, S.D. – The NAIA released the 2022 Daktronics women's volleyball scholar-athlete honorees this afternoon. Among the 609 total honorees for academic excellence in the classroom, 13 Tiger volleyball athletes received the honor.

Sophomores receiving the scholar-athlete honor are outside hitter, Abigail Brunsing; defensive specialist, Callie Slagter; outside hitter, Haley Hesse; defensive specialist, Kerrigan Schultz; outside hitter, Marissa Morris; and right side Odalite Pankratz.

Juniors who received scholar-athlete honors are middle blocker, Ady Dwight; libero, Hanna Reiff; outside hitter Taylee Indahl; and defensive specialist, Tya Weideman.

The three seniors who were tabbed as scholar-athletes are right side Mackenzie Miller; setter, Madeline Else; and outside hitter Mariah Gloe.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach and sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
