DES MOINES, Iowa — Dakota Wesleyan Women's Wrestling saw five wrestlers compete at the Grand View Open ahead of the final stretch of the season.

Cerys Gardner represented the Tigers in two bouts in the 110-pound bracket, falling to Aurie Sneed of Wayland Baptist and Alicia Serratos of Life, but still getting more matches under her belt ahead of the GPAC postseason. Isabelle Camarillo grabbed two wins at the 131-pound weight class with an exciting 15-12 decision victory and pinfall on the backside of the bracket. She would fall out of contention after her fourth match, but was able to put together the best day of any Tiger. Tiara Faehnrich and Sava'nah Norte fought hard in the 138 and 160-pound brackets, respectively, and both competed in two matches each, but were unable to secure any wins in the process. Kaitlin Gay rounded out the team's effort with two bouts in the 207-pound weight class.

DWU Women's Wrestling will be back in action in the final installment of this season's GPAC Duals on Saturday, February 14th. See the full 2025-26 schedule here.
