Awards & Honors

Junior (2025): Appeared in 48 games for the Tigers, batting .303 with 15 RBIs, 34 runs scored, and 6 stolen bases… showed consistent hitting with multiple multi-hit games, including a season-high 3 hits vs. Northern State University (3/7/24) and Park-Gilbert (3/10/24)… contributed timely RBIs in key matchups such as at Dordt (3/14/24) and at Dakota State (4/15/24)… demonstrated speed and base-running acumen with 6 stolen bases while being caught only twice… played a pivotal role offensively in close games, including a 3-RBI performance in the narrow 14-13 win over Northern State (3/7/24)… maintained discipline at the plate with several games registering multiple walks and low strikeout counts.

Sophomore (2024): Started in 49 games in the outfield for the Tigers ... was named a 2024 GPAC Honorable Mention outfielder ... Darrow finished the season batting a career-best .305 average ... Darrow also hit career marks in RBI (12), BB (19), hits (54), extra base hits (8), on base percentage (.391), and also in runs (35) which led the team and was ranked top-20 in the GPAC ... had a three hit performance against Dordt (4/9/24) and at home against Jamestown (4/14/24) ... had 17 multi hit games during the season while also having a 13-game hitting streak during the season (2/24-3/15) ... hit his first career home run against D2 opponent Sioux Falls (4/2/24).

Freshman (2023): Appeared and started in 40 games for the Tigers in the outfield...finished the season with a .271 batting average, .336 on base, seven extra base hits, team-high 24 runs, eight runs batted in, and five stolen bases...in first collegiate game went 2 for 2 with a double, walk, and run scored at Kansas Wesleyan (2/18/23)...recorded a season-high four hits to go with two runs scored at Kansas Wesleyan (2/19/23)...had a 3 for 5 game and one stolen base in the 4-0 win against Bethany Lutheran (3/7/23). 

High School: Darrow was a three-year starter for the Cobbler football team and a three-year starter for Legion Post 320 baseball... on the grid iron, he was the top rusher for Rapid City Central earning AAA All-Confernce honors for running back while also being tabbed as the Best of the West Running Back... during his time on the diamond for Legion Post 320, he recorded a .400 batting average... in the class room, Darrow was an "A" Honor Roll student all four years and graduated as Magna Cum Laude of his class.
