Bio

General: Will be looked upon as a senior leader for the Tiger roster in her final season.

Junior (2017): She tallied another year as an integral part of the Tiger defense for Forsmann, as she started in 16 of 17 games … recorded one shot.

Sophomore (2016): Started in every game for the Tigers ... one of the main defenders for DWU.

Freshman (2015): Finished her freshman season with 17 starts and seeing playing time in all 18 games … also added one shot and shot on goal.

High School: Participated in soccer for Lincoln High School … earned a varsity letter in her single season … was part of the 2014 State Championship team … also ran track for the Patriots … a member of the National Honor Society, Math National Honor Society, and Science National Honor Society … on the honor roll throughout high school.

Personal: Born on Feb. 14, 1997 … daughter of Steven and Lori Forsman … twin sister of teammate Brittany Forsman … majoring in nursing.

MITCHELL, S.D. – For the first time since the 2014 season, the Dakota Wesleyan University women’s soccer team landed a player on the All-GPAC First Team in junior Alyssa Weidler (Sioux Falls, S.D.), as the women’s team finished with three All-Conference players and the men’s team landed two players on the All-GPAC team, it was announced by the conference Monday.
