General: Made an immediate impact as a starter during his freshman season … will be relied on as a leader to lead the potent Tiger offense.

Freshman (2016-17): Named GPAC Freshman of the Year, All-GPAC First Team and NAIA Honorable Mention … started in 33 games … averaged 18.4 points and 4.1 rebounds per game … scored 608 points in his first season … scored a season-high 37 points against Concordia University on Feb. 22 … notched a season-high 14 field goals made and six 3-point field goals made against Hastings College … grabbed eight defensive rebounds and nine total rebounds against Morningside College, each season-highs.

High School: Lettered all four years in basketball ... averaged 19.4 points per game as a junior and 26.5 per game as a senior to go along with 4.5 assists and 4.5 rebounds ... As a sophomore was named Second Team All-State and First Team All-Conference ... MITCHELL, S.D. – After the Dakota Wesleyan University men’s basketball team finished the season in its fourth-straight trip to the NAIA Men’s National Basketball Tournament, two players were named to the NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball All-America Team. Jason Spicer (Sioux Falls, S.D.) was named First Team All-American, while Ty Hoglund (Dell Rapids, S.D.) was named Third Team, it was announced by the NAIA Thursday.
