Sophomore (2024-25): Opened the season with a 5th place finish at the DWU Open ... he earned two tech falls, a major decision, and a pin in that tournament ... he added dual wins over Northern State and Southwest Minnesota State, including a 19-7 major decision.

Freshman (2023-24):  Cordes posted a record of 14-11 as a freshman … started in all home duals for the Tigers at the 125 class

High School: Kipp Cordes comes to DWU men's wrestling having a third and fourth place finish at the state tournament under his belt... the four year starter in both wrestling and rodeo for the Eagles of Wall High School earned the 2019 most improved wrestler, 2022 "Best in the west" award, and 2023 Badlands Brawler Award.
