Bio
General: After recording over 1,000-career kills and digs, Brunsing brings her talents to DWU in hopes to make an immediate impact.
Sophomore (2022): Played in all 33 matches and 122 sets for the Tigers… recorded 192 kills, 1.57 kills per set and a hitting percentage of .131… also credited with 64 total blocks during the season; nine solo and 55 assisted blocks… hit her best against Georgetown on August 18 posting nine kills on 15 attacks for a .533 hitting percentage… tallied her season high in kills against No. 20 Columbia (Mo.) recording 16.
Freshman (2021): Was a critical component for the Tiger offense ... compiled 220 kills in her 35 starts and 120 sets played.
High School: Finished with 1,346 kills, 1,048 digs, 99 aces and a .292 career hitting percentage ... named All-State First Team ... a four-time LMVC and a three-time SESD member ... an Elite-8 Award winner ... was a Midco Player-of-the-Year contender twice ... named MVP of her team ... tabbed as Most Improved on her team ... a two-time MaxPreps Player-of-the-Week honoree ... competed on the Corn Palace Area Club team ... a four-year starter and a five-time varsity letterwinner in volleyball ... also competed in basketball and track for four seasons ... a two-time LMVC member and a one-time SESD member in basketball ... a three-time state track qualifier ... finished with a 4.0 GPA ... secretary for the National Honor Society and vice president for the Student Council.
